Snowy Mountain Pass Scene

I had a little free time left before my University hand in date, so I thought I'd try to create some environment art in Photoshop. There are two different variations of this one concept, one in the day and the other in the night. I thought doing this would help me understand how a single change in time can change the entire scene.

Cove (environment lighting Study)

For this piece I tried to recreate a cove scene, looking out into the distance. My main focus for this piece was the lighting, to help make the scene allot more friendly/welcoming. Hopefully somewhere people would like to visit in their holidays etc...

Big Asset Update

Here are all the asset's I have made over the past month. Unfortunaly I haven't been able to post them straight away as the last month has been quite hectic.
For these two projects I have created two enviromental scene's in udk, therefore I went with a scene looking at a street corner in greece and the other in a temple. The temple however was a joint effort with my friend (Gabriel Gomes), although every asset you see here was created by me.
Final scene's Here: http://craigratcliffe.weebly.com/2/post/2013/04/udk-scenes-temple-greece-street-corner.html

Group Game Design (Role: Level Designer)

For this project we had to work in a team of 9-10 people, then split up the jobs. (e.g level designer, character designer, UI etc...) I volunteered to be the level designer, where I had to create a rough level on graph paper then create the base in Maya!
Here's all the work I did for my team.

I apologize for some part's not matching up, this was due to the fact I only had a A4 scanner, and the paper was A3.

Through completing this project, I feel that I have got better at designing levels. And finding my way around Maya.

More Organised Portfolio

Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know about my more organised portfolio site.  Don't worry this blog will also be up-to-date. Here's some sample pictures.

Plinky-Plonk (Level/character Mechanics)

For this project I had to create mechanic's for a game called "Plinky Plonk", which is available on the IOS right now. And if my idea's are good enough they will then be put in the official version of the game. Here's some image's of how a certain mechanic works and a bunch of other possible ideas listed
